Have been here a variety of times but got the Shakshuka for the first time(which is what they are known for locally) it has rich flavor and good portion, the challah toast is a great pairing. Also got the lucky charms coffee which was good but kind of underwhelming. The french toast is always a good order, also challah bread, good flavor and so soft. Finally, the scrambles are also nicely put together, good ingredient pairings but wish there was a custom scramble option. Overall good vibe, great service, cute interior, good local business to support.

I finally tried Milkweed after passing by it many times. The food was tasty and unique (the “veggie” gyro was an interesting twist to a breakfast sandwich). Service was quick and friendly. Limited seating relative to the demand, so expect to wait 20-60 minutes, especially on the weekend. Overall, though I’d visit again.

Food was excellent! French toast, sausage, corn muffin - all great. Plus a hot cocoa which was perfect! Husband had the turkey BLTA which he loved. It was a bit noisy and crowded but the food and service were great.

Wow! This is an EASY five star place, and I’d give it more if I could. They have everything a cafe should have PLUS. Not only is the menu extravagant and creative (everything form shakshouka to quesadillas to salmon), but they have strawberry chocolate chip muffins and matcha!!!! The match tea was quality and the muffin had a decent amount of actual strawberries and chocolate chips (if you don’t want it sliced and buttered, let them know first. There are candles. There are fresh flowers. The whole place is an elevated experience, and the service is fast and friendly. Bonus: the hours!!! Most cafes close by 6pm. This place is open late!

The host was very kind. Even thought it was fist come first serve, I had put my name down with my friend being late and he continuously checked in and got us seated as soon as he could. The food was great. We got the morning madness which was amazing, the portions were great with everything cooked well. I was left trying to get all the butter off my plate. The atmosphere was busy but cozy. A great brunch spot for any time.

The food is so delicious!!!! And the lavender matcha is literally perfect. I had the salmon cakes which weren’t too dry, the grits went so well with them, and the eggs with scallions made it perfectly breakfast-y! If you want to go on the weekend, you’ll have to get there early to beat the rush, and even if you beat the rush it will still be packed. The food is pretty expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

Great savory and sweet menu options. I ordered the steak scramble and it was an excellent portion size (I took home a doggy bag). Love the location in Mission Hill, it’s right across the street from a library and playground which made for a great start to my day when we were in Boston.
